Tackling Digital Disconnect

Some people think that work will go back to “normal.”  It turns out, there’s no going back. The future of work is being created right now, in place-less, digitally native ways.

When COVID hit, we all embraced Zoom as the way to communicate, and Slack as the way to collaborate, but in our race to create a new digital workplace we forgot something.   People need to feel connected if they truly want to effectively communicate and collaborate.   

You’ve probably heard about and even experienced Zoom and Slack fatigue. This speaks to the new problem we all now experience: Digital Disconnect.

And when we are disconnected, we get: 

Disappointed, Discouraged, Disenfranchised, Disgruntled, Disheartened, Disillusion, Disintegrated, Disorganized, Disorientated, Dispassionate, Dissociated, Distrustful.

As a matter of fact, Digital Disconnect, is now a leading cause of dissatisfaction, and, left unchecked, it can become the #1 destroyer of company culture and productivity.

Until now.
